Rupali Ganguly • Dadasaheb Phalke Award

Rupali Ganguly is an Indian actress who is best known for her work in Hindi television serials and films. She has appeared in a number of popular TV shows, including "Sarabhai vs Sarabhai", "Sanjivani", and "Anupamaa".

The Dadasaheb Phalke Award is the highest award in Indian cinema, and is named after the legendary filmmaker Dadasaheb Phalke. It is presented annually by the Government of India for outstanding contribution to the growth and development of Indian cinema.

As of my knowledge cutoff date of September 2021, Rupali Ganguly had not received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. However, it is worth noting that the award is typically given to individuals who have a long and distinguished career in Indian cinema, so it is possible that Ganguly may be considered for the award in the future based on her contributions to the industry.

The Dadasaheb Phalke Award is the highest award for outstanding contribution to Indian cinema. It was instituted by the Government of India in 1969 to commemorate the life and works of Dadasaheb Phalke, who is considered the father of Indian cinema.

The award consists of a Swarna Kamal (golden lotus) medallion, a shawl, and a cash prize of Rs. 10 lakhs (1 million) as of 2021. In addition to the cash prize and medallion, the awardee is given a certificate and a shawl.

Over the years, the Dadasaheb Phalke Award has been conferred on many eminent personalities from the Indian film industry, including actors, directors, producers, and technicians, who have made significant contributions to Indian cinema.
